  • Motorcycle GPS Tracker and Alarm

Hi all. I was wondering what GPS Tracker and Alarm everyone uses, if any? I've been considering the REVER rlink, the SPOT Trace or just using a SPOT 3 Satellite GPS Messenger. I realize both require a service plan. But it should alleviate the need for me to have to call or text my family when out on an extended trip because they can check my progress online. TIA!!

I'll be looking into phone trackers like Life360 for my 1700 mile ride to the Texas rally. Purpose built systems can get expensive, and since I always have a cell phone on me I'll look for something cheap and deal with the in-app ads.

I have used Life360 in the past and wasn't impressed with it. Uses a lot of battery too. Hopefully they have updated it and it is better now.

I have used the original SPOT and now the SPOT 3 for years. I had an app on my phone for a while and compared it to the SPOT's tracking. The SPOT is far more reliable, or was for me, anyway.

Family members and some friends (yes I have a few) have the life360 on their college children. This life360 is kinda cool. I have the "Find a Friend" Derry Bullock uses when we all meeting up or going to the rally. Its not bad either.

My wife got me to set up Life360 for my trip around the western states last year. Worked great and free for the basic plan.
