      Also in Missouri, a Throttle Lock is not allowed. Only if you are stopped for other charges will they press this issue. I know this from a friend that went to court over it and Lost.

            in most places, yes - check your local laws though to be sure......gotta love riding thru/by Atlanta traffic

                My state doesn't say anything in the motorcycle laws about brake modulation. Does anyone know of any issues with the law? I have one on my bike and I would like to keep it. Thanks

                  Thanks for the link. I didn't know that ear plugs are not allowed in Ohio. Also, how does one measure the dBA of their mufflers? I would like to stay as legal as possible.

                    Your state noise laws will detail how and under what conditions sound is measured. I measured mine a while back and posted in the 900 forum(?). Good meters aren't cheap - I had access to a certified meter. I'm not too illegal but there's no shortage of overly loud HD's around here if cops want to give out tickets.

                      So they are saying you can't even have one on your bike if your not using it
