Amazing, the number of aircraft in the air at any given time. Each little bright blip is an airplane. Notice the dark area that moves from right to left, nighttime, and how the air traffic changes directions as day changes to night and vice versa.

as i deal with radar systems....when you see how many are flying around, you quiver each time you get on a plane

DaBull, a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I trained on Radar in the Navy. During breaks at school, we would power up the radar unit and follow people as they walked by. Many of them became quite nervous and started to walk rather quickly. Of course, we did not turn on power to the transmitter, only the antenna drive. We were finally told, that it better not happen again, as one of the people we followed was an officer, out of uniform.
