Front porch sitting......

An oldtimer was rocking in his chair on his front porch watching the world pass by. The neighbor kid comes walking down the sidewalk carrying a roll of chicken wire under his arm. The oldtimer yells out to him, "Hey boy, whacha doin with that chicken wire?" The boy says that he's going to catch a couple of chickens. Well the oldtimer chuckles and goes back to rocking. Sure enough, about 10-15 minutes later here comes the neighbor kid with a chicken under each arm. The oldtimer thinks well I'll be damn.....About an half an hour later here comes the kid again but, this time he has a roll of duck tape. The oldtimer yells out, "Hey boy, where you going with that duck tape?" The kid say he's going down to the pond to catch a duck. Well the oldtimer laughs and goes back to rockin. About 20 minutes later here comes the kid with a duck! The oldtimer thinks well I'll be damn....A little time passes and here comes the kid again, this time he has a pussy willow branch. The oldtimer yells out, "Hey kid, hold up a second. Let me get my hat."
