  • Hello from Charleston SC

Hi everyone! A quick shout out as to how I found this site. I was doing a google search on Vulcan Voyager touring and came across this site.

Now a little bit about me. I am the proud owner of an 08 Vulcan 1600 Classic. This is my 3rd bike. I started with a Yamaha 500T about 33 years ago. Then a Honda 750. I took at 25 year break from riding and picked up this little VN1600 Classic brand new in 08. I am in love all over again. Now I'm viewing/buying the 13 Voyager. It's finally the color I want, and has almost all the bells I want. So now that the next bike is picked out, I'm planning on Sturgis for this summer. Riding, not trailering from SC.

Welcome from west MI... Went to Sturgis in 11" it,s all they say it is.. we did kaw demo rides there .. great test run.. we got to ride as fast as the slowest guy.. [so 80 down the x-way was no problem] LOL. and there is a ton of great roads to ride out there. so have fun. BUT, if you can come on up to west MI here in July. we are host for the VRA National Rally this year... Not a big as Strugis but plan to have all the fun. See the VRA main web page for details..

I'd love to make the Rally, but I think I will pass on it this year. Maybe next Rally....
