  • New Member in Wisconsin

My husband and I both ride Vulcans...and have for many years. I currently ride a 1997 1500 Classic. I am the second owner of this bike. I recently had it repainted in honor of my mom who passed away in 2012 after a very long battle with breast cancer. Mom rode before she passed and we made many memories riding together. Mom will ride with me forever; I had her ashes mixed in the purple paint on my bike. I have nicknamed my bike...Burning up Cancer. You will understand the name when you see the photo.

We recently rode with members of the South Central Wisconsin Vulcan Riders Chapter 1-49. We had a great time on the day's ride even though everything didn't go quite as planned. My husband and I are planning to join this chapter in the very near future.

Welcome to the forum from Minnesota. I love your ride and the story behind it. I will share it with some friends of mine, whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. I met some of the people in 1-49 at the rally this year, you will be joining a great group of friends. I hope to get down there sometime.
