  • Hello from Prescott, Arizona

New to the group, have had my 2001 Vulcan 1500 Classic FI for a few months and am trying to get in as much riding as I can before the weather turns....
Considering an Iron Butt Assoc. ride, any ideas?

Welcome to the forum from Columbus, OH!! Unfortunately I don't know much about the Iron Butt rides, but there are others on here that do! Not sure how close to you to Phoenix you are but we have a chapter there as well! The 2014 West Rally will also be out in the Phoenix area.

        Re: Hello from Prescott, Arizona

welcome to the group! Glad you found us and congrats on the bike... Looks like the closest chapter to you is the Phoenix Chapter--approx 90 miles. If you are interested in starting a chapter closer to home, just let us know in the "Interested in Starting a Chapter" thread...only takes 4-Vulcans

As for the Iron Butt.... well...only thing I can think of is make it a lopp so you can see different things...you will likely be on interstate due to time/miles required and needed rest stops and fill ups...everything has to be documented properly too (receipts, witnesses, etc.....
