  • Hello from Gastonia, NC

Hi! I am in the process of rebuilding a 1987 Vulcan 1500A from the frame up. I bought the bike partially disassembled so I would appreciate any help I can get! Looking forward to meeting folks.

Welcome!! I bet when Dave Cooper finds this post he might be able to offer a little insight as he has some first hand experience with the older "88" model Vulcans.

              Re: Hello from Gastonia, NC

Actually, I've run into an issue this weekend...when I got the bike, some disassembly had been started. Could anyone tell me where the battery ground cable bolts to the frame/ engine?

Would post in the 1500 tab but my account is still not active.

Thanks for your help! I'll post pics when my account is active.
