I'm live in Mesa, AZ and this is my first Vulcan. Just picked up a 2008 900 Classic with only 1500 miles. I like the ride and will like it a lot better when I do something with the stock exhaust and get some good sound out of her. I'm 60 years old and have been riding since I was about 14 (mostly Yamahas and Suzukis). I'm getting ready to retire in March and plan on doing a lot of it. this looks like a great forum and I'm glad to be a part of it.

Re: Another Arizona Vulcan Rider!
Welcome aboard.
The 900 is a great bike, it'll be good for around town, cruising or cross country. I've got the 900 Custom, love the front wheel design and the solid rear wheel.
There is a sub-forum dedicated to starting a VRA chapter in AZ, look it up and contact some of the group there, might find someone close enough for day rides.
