Hi, My name is George and I like to ride my 2011 VN1700C Nomad long distances and in a timely manner. I bought my 'mad in 2017 with less than 5000 mi on it and love the heck out of it. I retired from the Army in 2011 but I don't get to ride much, as I'm working overseas and only get home one month a year. So when the wife doesn't have plans my boy and I head off to far away places looking to fulfill IBA certification rides. In a couple weeks, May 2018, we'll be kicking butt with a Heaven to Hell.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I work as a Military instructor for the Saudi Arabian National Guard. It's been a long while since I had a bike, last one was a 1981 Honda CM400 in the late 90's. Bought my 2011 Nomad 1700 on my first day home on vacation last June, it was mint showroom condition. Riding home from the dealer I promptly high sided going around a corner on my way home. Pride, bags, and windshield got scratched up. Learned a lesson, 850lbs of metal needs a lot of room to slow down. Going to send in the ECU to Ivan for re-flash next week so that it will be ready when I get there.
