Thanks folks. It'll take a bit to get the lay-of-the-land in here. Each forum has its own "feel" and personalities inhabiting it.
VROC is much different than vulcanforums which is different from Vn750.com, and so forth. KawasakiWorld is fine except its all sportsbikes so not really for me.
I'll figure this place out just fine. I'm looking forward to meeting up with a few folks from this local area for riding next riding season (I'm a fair weather guy.)
I'm hoping this proposed Columbia River Vulcan Riders thing successfully launches.
For some reason I am having tons of problems opening up a Facebook account so as to check out CRVR. It'll get done though.
Anyway, thanks for the welcomes!

Western Washington guy
Well, I'm 63 and been riding for a number of years. I ride an '06 Vn750 that I have added good saddlebags to (hard mounted), windscreen, luggage rack engine guard, highway pegs, lowers, and a custom seat made by a local fella that had been doing motorcycle upholstery for 30 years. There are a few other things, too but bottom line is that its nicely setup for longer runs.
One night back in '06 the wife won 8K at Bingo and the next day the bike was in my driveway, paid for. Nice!
I live in the general Spanaway/Fredrickson area, near Tacoma Washington.
I spend a lot of time in both the VROC and vulcanforums websites. I spent 10 years hanging out in the Vn750.com forum but don't go there much at all anymore. There are a couple of guys that I've been riding with that I met in the vulcanforums site. One rides a nice 900LT and the other has a Nomad plus a few more other bikes.
This past July I went to the Hell's Canyon Rally down in Baker City Oregon. I definitely plan on going back next year.
I am looking forward to getting to know people in here and maybe riding with some around the Washington/Oregon-ish areas.
Just call me Chris.
