Greetings from the desert.

Hi,

My name is Scott, some of you might know me as Cactusjack from other forums. I just found this forum today, even though I have been a member of the VRA (AZ chapter 1-15) for several months now.

I ride a 2007 1600 Nomad. I call it the "Ultranomad" because I have a tourpack and batwing fairing on it. It also has an Audiovox CCS100 electronic cruise control and just about every bell and whistle on it money can buy. I've put 43,000 miles on it since I bought it brand new in September of 2007.

Living in the Phoenix area, I can ride just about every day of the year, except this time of year it can be a little unpleasant when it's above 110° degrees every day. So I ride early in the morning to beat the heat. I have been in the IT industry for the past 20 years and work for a large Fortune 500 company headquartered in Phoenix.

I hope to meet other VRA members on the road or at future events. Y'all ride safe now!

No, I'm pretty sure it's an Ultranomad. That rolls off the tongue better than Nomadglyde.
