Hello from Bucks County,Pa

Well I pick up my 2011 1700 classic on Tuesday. This will be my first cruiser. I never owned a V twin. I currently ride a 1992 GSX1100G which I bought new. I was looking for something a little more comfortable on the knees and I fell in love with the Vulcan. I ordered it back in October, so it's been a long winter waiting for it to come in.

Welcome to the forum. In my opinion, you couldnt have picked a better motorcycleor a better group to get in with. The Vulcan is a great bike that will give you many years a great fun.

You might want to ask the dealership if the recall has been fixed on your bike. I cant remember exactly what it is but it has to do with the fuel. Just some FYI

I think the ECU recall was 2009 and 2010 models if thats what you mean Rick.

ahh ok. I wasn't sure if the 2011 models were included or not.
