Hey, not really new to this but new to this area, just moved down here to Central Florida, Orlando area, I love to ride and am looking for some new friends to do rides with and hang out with at all of the events down here. I love to ride and have 2 Vulcans, 1 is my 93 vn1500A 88 special, I have it apart right now doing a rebuild, figured it had earned it after 90k miles and I have my 99 Vn800B that is my daily rider right now currently with 45k miles on it. I am headed to Leesburg for the Bike Fest there and to the Drags in Gainesville, if there are any groups that will be up there or anyone riding up for those events please let me know I would enjoy getting to meet, ride, and hang out.

Welcome to the group from Central Ohio!!! We have a Central Florida Chapter so maybe you can hook up with them at some point and ride!! We have our rally in Iowa coming up in July. If you can make it that would be great!!!

I want to make it to one of the big events but this year is out of the question unfortunately. I am in school down here in Orlando and don't have that kind of time over the next year, but when I get done I will be headed back to Ohio (Columbus Area) and making a trip like that will be a little more possible for me. Thanks for the welcome, I'm doing what I can down here to convert all of these Floridians to Buckeye fans one at a time, lol, O H !!!!!

I can understand the time constraints my friend! So are you from the Central Ohio area?? I am in Columbus myself! When you get back up here let me know. Would love to ride with you!!! If you will be here for a while we would love to have you in the chpater as well!!! Just keep in touch!!!

My wife was born and raised in Marysville and her family still lives out there, we lived in Plain City before we moved a couple years ago because of my work. I had moved to Columbus about 7yrs ago and consider it my home. I use to play music there and still go back to do shows with friends when I can but for the next year I am in Orlando going to MMI to become a Motorcycle tech. When we get done we will be moving back to the Columbus area, not sure where yet but somewhere there, lol. I had always had Harleys before and didn't get my first Vulcan till about 2yrs ago when I bought my 93 vn1500a and I was hooked in about the first 15 miles of throwing my leg over that bike. I put about 25k on it over the last 2yrs and now rebuilding it and just bought a 99 vn800b that I love just as much if not more than my other one. But yeah, most definitely when I get back I will switch chapters (I'm joining the Central Florida Chapter this week) and we'll get together. I love riding, so does my father in law, he is a Goldwing man though, been riding those since the early 80's and don't think he'll be changing anytime soon, lol. Well, keep the dirty side down and be safe.

Welcome to the group...I am sure the Florida 1-2 Chapter would love to have you aboard with them as well as the Ohio Chapters when you get back up that way!

Thanks for all the welcomes, Casey, can you run over to the Buckhorn exchange and get me some take out and mail it down here to Florida? lol. I hated my last job and am glad to be done with it but I loved getting to spend time out there in Denver, what a great place. Thanks to J out in Old Hickory, that's a great area for some riding. I am from southern Indiana and my best friend lives in Johnson City so I use to ride through that way quite a bit years ago, that really is a nice ride.
