  • Looking to start a chapter west central ohio

Would anyone be interested in a chapter in the grand lake area?

There was a chapter up near Napoleon but they have had a decline in membership over the last couple of years. So would be cool to get another chapter out in that area of Ohio started up. Let me know if you want some information and I can email it to you on starting up a chapter. Good luck!!

What the boss said above There is a section on the website with some info on starting a chapter, and the VRA bylaws are good to review (also found on the main website)
The best approach if you are interested in starting a chapter is the "Bull Dog" approach. In other words you latch onto the idea of starting a group and you don't let go of it (like a bull dog) until you find the right folks interested and committed to starting one. Sometimes it can take some time and effort to find those folks and repeated postings to do so. I wish it was as easy as "Post it once and they will come" but I have only ever seen that happen one time.

I’d love to have a closer chapter, but as with everything else, life happens! I always seem to be busy doing something.

Are you thinking of basing it out of St Mary’s/Celina?
