I would like to start a Southern Illinois chapter. We have three in Northern Illinois and two in neighboring Missouri but nothing near here.

I requested to join your group. What city or town would the chapter be based in?

The one thing I can tell you is that even though there are 6000 plus people in the National Facebook group, and I think over 20,000 in another Vulcan FB group it will take repeated efforts to try and get people to notice. Also it is helpful to put out there what kind of chapter you are wanting to start, and by that I don't mean just a Vulcan Riders Association Chapter, I mean something more to the effect of you are looking to start a family friendly riding group open to men and ladies, young and old, experienced rider or new rider, for occasional weekend rides & gatherings, and while the group is Vulcan centric, riders of all makes and models are welcome.

The "Purpose" statement and "Mission" statement on our website home page are also excellent things to use in your recruiting efforts.

              Good luck again!!

Pedal to the Metal! Good start, Randy Young and the rest have a wealth of information that will make it a lot easier to get your chapter going and keep it lively. Thanks for your efforts adding to the Vulcan Riders Family we will all be stronger.
