RALLY AT RENFRO!!

The 2009 National Vulcan Rally will be held at the Renfro Valley KOA campground in KY from July 14-16 (Tue - Thu). All VRA members and forum members are welcome!

Accommodations
They have 2 cabins that sleep up to 6 and 8 cabins that sleep 4 right next to the tent camping area. Additionally, they have 2 lodges and a deluxe cottage. Barb helps the owner, Marty, take reservations. (her Kentucky accent is priceless <g>). Marty is offering the VRA a 10% discount. Prices are below:

Sorry to hear it Mike. A mid-week event has its advantages but at the expense of lots of vacation days for people who live next door. Ya can't say I didn't try.

I am planning on booking a single room cabin which sleeps 4 and was wondering if anyone wanted to bunk with me and maybe split the cost. It will only be me so I can't see taking a whole cabin by myself plus save a little $$$ to boot.

Have you gotten the info from the owners yet, so maybe we can get set up in the same area? Or do we just let them know that we are with the VRA group?

Will be working to get there. Got to keep an eye on you lot or you'll do something stupid no doubt.

Watch out for the impending Mack Attack! It will be a pleasure to fill your belly full of good American food and ice cream. We'll send you back 10 pounds heavier like we did last year. LOL

Hope you can make it, Mack. It would be great to see you again. And, with not being the host this year, I'll have plenty of time to have some interesting conversations in the evening. I missed that last year and felt terrible that I wasn't more chummy. But the alarm went off early in the morning so I could be back to get things rolling in the a.m. That won't happen this year.
