  • 7 lost in one moment........

Sometimes we see things that go beyond words. The recent New Hampshire accident involving a single pickup truck (hauling a trailer) colliding with a group of United States Marine Corp riders going to a motorcycle event is one of those times.

The specific cause of this accident has not been released as of the time I write this. From the looks of the very few pictures it seems the bikes were all cruisers/touring machines so the bike group wasn't a bunch of speed demons.

Regardless, at least 7 perished unexpectedly and I don't know the medical status of the remaining injured people sent to the hospitals. One moment they were enjoying the ride and companionship of fellow bikers and Marines. Then horror.

To say that this is a sad event is a huge understatement but there really aren't any words to adequately describe it.

That certainly is a tragedy. I'm sure there are articles all over the internet but if anyone is looking you all can find a couple of articles on www.masslive.com

www.masslive.com has articles posting the names of all who passed away and injured. One of the injured who has been released from the hospital lives about 10inutes from me in Brimfield, Mass.

It would nice if someone, far more artful than myself, could come up with a high quality, respectful patch to commemorate these people. I'd wear it.

It wouldn't surprise me if the MC comes up with something for their members to wear, I suppose they might make it available for purchase by the public as a fundraiser but I suspect they would keep it in the family..

In any case I wouldn't wear something referencing another club or its members without that club's knowledge and approval. Something generic would be fine, though, and can probably already be found.

If you're still interested in a memorial patch, I just got notified that they have some products and ordered myself a patch.
