  • New to Vulcan Community

(I previously posted in the Vulcan S Thread)

Wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I recently purchased a Vulcan S after a 10 year hiatus of riding.

Have been back on it for about a month and enjoying the rides, the waves from fellow riders and just the community in general.

If there are any Vulcan Riders in the Hampton Roads / Virginia Beach area, send me a message, would love to go for a ride with you.

Hey Vince!! Welcome from Central IL!! Glad to have you with us in the VRA!! Very sharp bike, and you have some goodies added to it already it looks like. How do you like the short wind deflector? I like the way it looks but wondered if it took some wind blast off your torso, or caused you much helmet buffeting?

      Heya Randy,

      Nice Bike you have there!

On the Vulcan S cafe windshield, I actually prefer a little wind on me, but I am weird that way . I am 5'7" and the wind hits me right at the nose level of my helmet. I had something similar on my old ZR-7 and knocks off just enough wind for me.

In the hot weather having some of that wind can be nice!

Welcome Vince and congrats on the new ride. There are a couple of great riding clubs in the Hampton Roads area I'll ask my son in law they lived in Virginia Beach for awhile (military) and he rode his Vulcan with a group. There are some NC chapters that ride up your way a couple of times a year to do the Chesapeake Bay Bridge ride.
