    Re: PA snow pics

    Hey Bull,

Lorin and I talked about it and we decided that we'd like to just stay with you at your place through the winter months. K? Let the Mrs. know that we'll be there next week.

You won't even know we're there. I snore a little but I make great pancakes!

I know, I know. My brother and sisters all complain that I brought it down. But I tell them, it was fine when I left there, no snow on the ground and temps in the 40s. Must be something they broke.

                  Re: PA snow pics

Oh, and I had to drive 120+ miles in the snow storm we had here in Georgia on Friday. I was coming home from Jacksonville, FL, hit snow well south of Macon. By the time I got within 10 miles of home, I had the Durango in 4 wheel drive, we already had 4 inches of snow on the roads, and someone had run off the road down the 8 ft drop into my front yard (and somehow managed to not roll their Explorer while going off that 8 ft drop). Had 8 inches of snow when we woke up Sat morning and thank goodness I had bought that 8000 lb receiver mounted winch the week before or I would have never gotten my father-in-laws truck out of my driveway and him headed on his way home to Indiana.

                    Re: PA snow pics

Yep, the changing climate has most certainly screwed up local weather. We've got record cold in most of the country, but the Northwest coast has had a warmer than normal weather this Winter. Worldwide weather is also in turmoil, due to a warming climate that has disrupted so many local weather patterns.

It's good that most of the world is awakening to the fact that climate on the Earth is changing, regardless of reasons, and we can expect more violent weather patterns world wide.

                        Re: PA snow pics

Sorry guys, I don't buy into all the Global Warming hype. A lot of people are looking to get rich off of it, as always it's about money.

Funny how they preach about Global Warming than change it to Climate Change and ALL their data is mysteriously thrown away. When temps fell last year they said it was a hiccup in Climate Change, I wonder what their excuse is now. Funny, we're getting just as much snow as we did in the 60's and 70's when I was a kid.

Somethings are just beyond our comprehension. I do agree that weather patterns have been odd, but it's not caused by man. There are too many factors that are beyond our control. And for all our knowledge, there is more that we don't know than we do know.

Hope this doesn't get deleted. It is after all an opinion, like the posts prior.

                        love and all that jazz!

                          Re: PA snow pics

My blaming it all on Global Warming was actually meant to be tongue-in-cheek. I don't believe in it. I believe in natural climate change, and that man has very little to do with what happens to the climate. I do agree on putting less pollutants into the air because I can't stand the smell (I live out in the country because I can't stand the smell of the city), but don't try to scare me into it changing the planet's weather.
