Having Vista on this laptop, I can relate very much to that story. It really does suck.

Never tried it still using XP wife has 7 on her laptop and likes it. I would prefer Mac but school uses XP so don't want any bugs switching systems.

I've tried Mac OS X, and I won't go back to it. As much as I hate windows, Mac OS X infuriated me even more. My Windows 7 desktop doesn't crash near as often as Mac OS X does, in fact, I don't remember XP crashing that much.

Well I switched to an Imac and I haven't had one problem. I'll never go back to windows ever! Way to many problems.
