“Those little resilient bastards came right back.”. Putting this here since it's real life comedy aboard the Littoral Combat Ship USS Fort Worth. Due to copyright laws can't post the story or direct link to it. Lower right corner of index page at Most Read Stories is the link to story in the thread title.

Sorry, I don't see the link because it's no longer the top story.

btw, it's not against copyright law to link directly to a story on the internet. That's the whole idea behind the invention of the Internet.

The copyright page said no linking, copying etc and gave a number to get permission. There's been a big fuss over linking lately, at least with government links.

Fine, then I'm copyrighting the entire forum and the government has to obtain written permission to click on any link or read any post. If anyone in the government reads anything without permission, they have to submit to a frontal lobotomy....

Most of them died on their own due to lack of food as the ship worked it's way down the east coast. LCS-3 was commissioned in Texas on the 22nd and was spotless inside.

“They’re awesome. They are fighting right now because they don’t have any food. We stand six-hour watches and it can be boring, and (spider brawling) takes up a good four hours,” Chief Matthew Moore said before reminding himself of his captain’s presence. “We’re still being vigilant, of course, but we can’t help it because they’re right there.”

I had to laugh... you know you're bored shitless when watching a four-hour spider brawl is entertainment!
