I'm located in the Greensboro, NC area. Have a 2009 Vulcan 500 LTD purchased used with around 2,500 miles on it. My first real motorcycle upgrading from riding scooters. Added windshield, saddle bags, tank bag, other things. Really enjoying the bike, cruises comfortably on the highway at 70 mph in 5th gear, with a sixth gear to spare. Great for city riding as well (though gas mileage is kinda crappy in town). Looking forward to meeting fellow owners (especially those in the Triad area), learning all I can. Happy to be here.

Re: New Member From North Carolina
Hey Arnie - Welcome and love the 500's - yes there is a chapter in the Raleigh area with a great bunch of guys and gals - if your on FB search for them or let me know I can hook you up with them. We have several chapter's in the Carolina's now and we are planning another meet and eat (and adding a ride) for sometime in July.Non Chapter Member
