    Hello

I live in Baltimore area but ride a lot in southern PA (have family there). I have 2003 Vulcan 1500 and plan to stay with Vulcan’s in the future. Among other models, I like the older 800, 800 and 1500 Drifters, 900 Classic, Nomad (old and new) and how about that new 2011 Vaquero!

I’m a new-ish member of the Maryland Vulcan Riders Association and look forward to going to some events.

My 1500 is a carbureted Classic with about 27,000 miles. It is stock except that I have a Rifle fairing and exhaust from a Mean Streak (which fits). I need to get a new seat (mine “gives out” after about an hour and a half) and I need to get new tires this winter.

Thanks for having this forum so everyone can share information.

Welcome to the forum Brian and congrats on joining the MD chapter. Just remember, a club is only as fun as the people who are in it so don't be afraid to stand out.

As the days get colder, feel free to keep us company on this forum. We northerners have to bear out the winter months together while the southerners keep riding.
