Hello my name is Dave Manis, live near Grossmont College and La Mesa. I look forward to joining the SD chapter here. Have been looking for a group to ride with for a while and glad to see other local vulcaneers. I ride a 750, my first bike that I have had for 2+ years and put ~ 20k miles on. I am also a member of VN750.com yahoo forum.

Hey Dave,
I don't recall seeing that 2-tone on a 750. I like it. What year is your bike?John Featherlin

Re: San Diego comes alive
One of the sweetest, prettiest sights I've ever had, has been over 100 Vulcans ride by me in the hills of Wisconsin during one of our smaller Vulcan rallies in Boscobel, WI. I was at a spotting point along the route, and hearing first the rumbling and then the roar of 100+ Vulcans coming and then watching them pass me, was a really enjoyable happening.
Enjoy your ride, and enjoy talking about Vulcans at the stops.

That's great Joe! Enthusiasm and fun times act like a magnet for new members. When you start feeling really bad for the people who haven't joined yet, you're doing it right.
