Yea, welcome Deacon. Since it was -16 Thursday night here in Iowa, can't imagine how cold it may have been in ND. Did you get a chance to ride?

        Welcome Deacon!

Heard on the news it was cold, but that is way cold too cold to ride, well maybe when I'm dreaming

Course you can't imagine it until you have lived there or been through it. I use to drive east and west across 90 a lot in the winter months when I was over the road.

I was 'trying' to make a joke. Like most of my off-the-cuff jokes, they go over like a lead balloon.

Although, I've ridden in 20 F weather, it was only a case of having to travel from Texas back up to Iowa, not by choice. Heated vest, but not gloves, and I had to stop about every 50 miles, because I couldn't even feel the grips. Drank a lot of hot coffee and chocolate that trip.

Yea, ND is usually the cold spot in the US, and this isn't anything that I want to take away.

It was only -7 F here in Iowa this morning.
