Another new member from NM

Hey everyone,
I'm Rianon (shiby3041's wife). Bought my '03 Vulcan 500 last week. Its my first bike so still getting used to the whole riding experience but also enjoying every moment of it. Currently in NM, but come next year we'll be in VA. Looking forward to gettin to know everyone.

The 500 is a great bike to start on, plenty of acceleration, does well on the interstates and quite nimble on the twisties.

You may some day go on to other bikes, maybe bigger, but you'll never forget the memories you make on a 'first' bike.

Welcome to the forum, feel free to jump it. There is some great riding in NM and when you get to Virginia, you'll find some great riding out there.

Welcome Rianon. My first bike was a 650 BSA. Pretty small for a 6'4" guy. I have heard nothing but good things about the 500. Hey move to VA this year and you could easily go to the rally.
