  • New Member from North Carolina

Hello! I'm a Vulcan 500 rider. Mine is a 1994. Bought it used with a bad motor. Found a parts bike with a good motor and swapped the two engines. now it runs and rides great. Not bad for an old bike. Since then I've put 7000+ miles on it. That was two years ago. Last year I added saddle bags and a new tank. Now I'm looking to put highway pegs and a windshield on it.

Thanks to everyone! I'm really looking forward to being a part of this group. Hopefully my wife and I (she has her own bike) will be able t make the rally in July.

                  Michael,

We have something in common. I'm an IT guy as well and I have a music degree. I've been a frustrated musician for many years. Played in several bands and I'm currently building a makeshift recording studio in my house.

Sandy - When you get it done, let me know. Perhaps a little recording collaboration may be in order via file sharing over the Internet. (or I could slip a 10" reel of tape into a box for ya) Plus, it's not like you're three states away. We could swap locations for this too. Ya never know, Pal.

Sounds good, Michael. In the meantime, here's a link to the one song I've sort of finished. Now if I can get the rest of the album done...
