  • Greetings from southwest Mississippi!

Hello, everyone. Hope it's cooler where you are than where I am!
My name is Sas and I belong to several other Kawasaki forums, too, so some of you may know me already. When I read about this one, I came over and looked around and really liked what I saw. It looks like I'm going to enjoy participating with you guys.

I've been riding since 1955, starting out on a '54 Harley 165 Hummer. My first experience with Kawasaki was when I bought a 2000 Fi Classic. When the opportunity presented itself, I moved up to a 2002 Nomad. When I took on the position of Mississippi District Director for GWRRA, I had to sell the Nomad or pay for insurance and tags for three years while all I was riding was my Gold Wing. The minute my DD tenure was up, I began looking for another 1500 Nomad and I found a beauty in the 2003 Black Pearl that I named "Lili".

I hope to get to meet some of you personally before the year is up.

Welcome aboard Sas, Back in 1960, my brother picked up an old 165 Harley that he rode from Florida to Texas, I ended up with that and broke it when hitting some gravel on a corner.

As Derry suggest, meeting a lot of us at the National Rally next month is a great idea. It would be good to ride with you.

Thanks for the welcome, guys! I'm busy goin' through the different areas here and I'll be adding some more info to my profile when I can. I'd like to make the Rally this year but with so much on my plate coming up (and dollars already spent in Eureka Springs, Mountain View, Orlando) I'll have to plan on events closer to home for the rest of the year. But thanks for the invite and info.
