  • New Vulcan rider new to forum bowhuntingman

Just want to say hi all just got a Vulcan and live near Pittsburg Pa
I have ridden before but first time Vulcan owner.
As you can tell by the name I love to bowhunting and archery here in and around Pittsburg. I do have my own web site that's called www.crazyarchery.com where I market my own innovation to the hunting world. I'm also a mechanic and like to ride and tinker with all kinds of stuff.
I hope to meet some other Vulcan riders out there
    Thanks dan

Hi from New England. But I am originally from Western PA. (Sharon, Oil City, Uniontown, and Baldwin and Allentown over on the southside of the Burgh) We moved around a lot. And I get flak for saying 'pop', 'Jumbo', or my kids favorite: "Yinz guys". The last is the hardest to let go!

Hah! You're right. But I didn't want to bore everyone with the peculiar speech patterns of Western PA, and especially Pittsburgh.

"I gotta rid up the house so we can get to the show. Jeet yet? Make a jumbo sandwich and there is Squirt in the icebox if you want."

I was around when Warrington and Arlington Ave were still cobblestone and the 'streecars' (That is the correct pronunciation!) clanged and clattered up the hill. Got dragged to church at St. Georges every Sunday and Bob Prince (sp?) was still calling the Bucco's game on KDKA radio.

God, it was another lifetime ago. It was ugly then and from what I hear, uglier now but back then it didn't look so bad. Excelsior Avenue, Allentown neighborhood, Pittsburgh. I miss it sometimes. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
