Great ride, you've excellent taste in bikes, welcome to the forum.
Yes, I know the way to San Jose. We lived 4 years in Campbell, before moving to Oregon. The moved back to Santa Clara for about 10 years.
Back in the 70's, I loved the view of the mountains, when ever the wind would blow the smog away enough to see them. Enjoy the riding around that area, once out of the cities, it so beautiful. -
