  • Howdy from Central Texas

My name is Albani and thanks for letting me join.
It's my first time back on a bike in 17 years.
I wasn't looking for a Vulcan, just looking for a deal,
    and ended up w/ a 99 Vulcan 750 w/ 27K miles for $1600.
    I'm loving it!!!

Welcome to a fellow Texan, I just happen to now live in Iowa. Like you, I went looking for a Harley, and found junk at around $8K cheapest. Driving though a city adjacent to Ceder Rapids, saw a great looking bike outside a bike shop that I'd not know was there.

Took a look, it was a great looking 92 Vulcan 750 for $3K. Put 27,000 miles on that beast before walking into the same shop and seeing the 99 Green/Green Nomad, just had to trade the 750 in.
