Hello all, I'm new to the VRA. Hoping to meet other VRA members (or other riders) in the area who love to ride as much as I do. I bought a litttle VN800 about a year ago an was so impressed that when I had to the chance to pick up another big v-twin it was another vulcan (1600 classic). Rain or shine, I ride every chance I get. So if you're looking for road trips out here (Menomonie, WI) somewhere and want company I'm game.

Re: West Wisconsin
Welcome to the forum. You're a bit far from both of the WI chapters, even the one in La Crosse. If you ever ride the Flood run, and the Greater Midwest chapter always makes that, starting in Nelson, WI. I didn't get to ride with them either time last year, but am going to try for the Fall Flood Run. Give A-Wolf a shout, you can click on "Members List" and search for him.

Re: West Wisconsin
Ok last reply got chopped pretty bad. Lacrosse is about 100 miles from the house. So it is a pretty nice pre-run lol. What are the dates for the flood runs? They sound like fun an Nelson is fairly close. Of course being a truck driver my ideas of what is close can be different from some lol.

Re: West Wisconsin
The Fall Flood run is Sept 17 this year. There are thousands of bikes that are riding on this, all different makes and models. The La Crosse chapter normally leaves about 10:30 or 11 AM from "Rod's Ride On Powersports", formally "Steiger's Kaw" in La Crosse and head up to Nelson, eat lunch and make their way back to La Crosse following the Mississippit.
Love the run, but it's a 400 mile day if I do, and I end up coming back through a lot of deer country after dark.
