Hello out there from NE Iowa

Just joined the VRA. My husband and I have been Vulcan owners since he bought his '07 Nomad. After a year of riding I decided I wanted my own and bought my first bike which was a Vulcan 500 the summer of 2007. Since I have traded for a Vulcan 900 and now just bought a Vulcan 900 LT. We travel together and have taken some trips out west. We ride with a group of people but we are the only Vulcan or even Kawasaki riders in out group. I am thrilled to have access now to other Vulcan riders.

Welcome aboard the forum nhaberichter, feel free to enter into the conversations, there's a sub-forum just for the 900, and also for the SOs 1600 Nomad.

Also, check out the sub-forum for Chapter 1-18, Greater Iowa Chapter. You're most welcome to check out our chapter meetings and rides. Also that we're holding the 2012 VRA National Rally fairly close to you at Spook Cave in McGregor.

The 900 LT is a great bike, almost as big as the SOs 1600 Nomad, and you'll certainly be able to brag about better gas mileage.
