  • Central Florida Newbie

to start my name is John. With that said I ride a 07 Vulcan 1500 silver and blue. At this time I do not have any photos. I have actually been riding for about 4 months now and enjoying every second on the road rain or shine. I a,m thinking of trading in my 07 for a 08 mean streak 1600 but not sure yet.

          Re: Central Florida Newbie

Welcome aboard John, feel free to enter into the conversations and there is a specific sub-forum for the 1500 Vulcans, and quite a few Classic owners there to help with any additions you wish to make, or any questions you might have about the bike.

The Classic is a great bike, even though I prefer cast wheels to spokes. (Love spokes, don't like tire tubes). Even if you don't trade, the 1500 Classic will give you thousands of trouble free miles.

Enjoy biking and don't hesitate to ask questions or even give advice when you see a question you can help with. To start, I'll ask you a question. Did you start with the MSF Safety Course, or if not, are you planning on taking it? Most of us, even the long time riders, find there is a lot of great information and safe riding tips from these courses.

A big welcome from Northwest Ohio! I have a '09 1700 Nomad and LOVE it. I just did a 910 mile ride to Iowa and back this weekend to visit the chapter over there for their charity event. The Nomad is a great ride. Again, welcome!!!
