Hello and good day!
Seven years ago, in an effort to find a hobby in common with my spouse. We decided to learn to ride. As it turned out, I loved biking My husband did not so much ... he doesn't like to go over 40 MPH. Finally the realization hit us both ... and 27 years of marriage ended well for both he and I, we are divorcing as the best of friends. =D
SO ... my previous bike was a 1978 CB750A. I got her six years ago, and she served me well. I rode her down the Pacific Coast Hiway to San Francisco and back, a 2,000 mile trip, this past summer.
Truly enjoyed long-distance riding, I decided if I wanted to do much more of it I'd need a different bike. At the same time I had that thought, my brother decided to sell, and two months ago I got a 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT. I LOVE this bike. I picked it up in Idaho Falls, and went there to Salt Lake City, and from Salt Lake City, home to Yakima. Long-distance driving is my new love.
I am looking forward to meeting people who ALSO love their Kaws. If I meet you digitally, that's great, on the road, that's BETTER.

If this pix works, notice on the taillight, there is a mountain butterfly. It is right above the sun-highlight, and the photo was taken last weekend, on a solo ride to Chinook Pass. Great fall colors, wonderful day.
<---- Didn't work, but it did over in "Pictures of My 900" thread. Just skip to the end, I'm the last one. =D
