Hello everyone! I came across this Organization while "googling" information about my 2004 Vulcan VN2000 and had to join. I live in a great place to ride here in Bristol TN/VA. My home track is 421 "The Snake" and I am within a couple of hours ride from several other famous routes in the Appalachians. I am fairly new to street motorcycling but being an "ol country boy" from the Coal fields I took to it pretty quick and I am fully addicted. My Vulcan is my first "Big Boy Toy" and she is a beauty. I love everything about this bike and its style. I am a fairly big guy (6 "4" 260lbs) so the VN2000 is a great fit for me. I spent 5000 miles learning the ropes on a Honda Shadow Spirit 750 that I loved dearly, but it was simply too small for a man of my size. After the first ride on the mighty Vulcan I knew this bike was made for me. My wife loves to ride with me as well and I hope to see anyone from this forum out on the road. If your ever visiting this area (Rides, Lakes, Bristol Motor Speedway, Vacationing, etc.) give me a shout. Our famous routes are great but there are several other back roads very close by that will blow your mind. Be safe and "keep it right side up".

Welcome from Lexington, KY. As Derry said, we've got lot of riders in Tennessee but no chapter yet. If you're interested in changing that let us know. We've got folks here whose job it is to help folks get local chapter up and running.
Our last two national rallys have been down in your area, at the Kickstand Lodge in Stecoah, NC, just across the TN/NC state line, near Robbinsville. Lots of great riding in the area.Old Crow (Bob)

Thanks Scotty! My family and I have been visiting Jekyll Island every year for the past 7. Discovered it while attending Glynco, hope to retire down there some day. Have to hook up next time I'm down that way. Many thanks for your service to our country!
