For those who might be interested: I learned more about the logo I asked about. It seems to be a Griffin, which is a beast with an eagle's head and body of a Lion. The lion is considered king of the animal world, and the eagle king of the birds. So the Griffin is considered king of the beasts. Oddly enough, when I took my first ride on my VN 2000 Classic LT, my comment was, "This bike is a Beast!"
So I guess Kawasaki may have known what they were doing when they used this logo on the Vulcan shirt. I'll wear it proudly!

HHHmmm to bad we could not snag some thing from the Griffin home team here in GR and then over lay the Vulcan logo... And welcome from GR. MI I am our group VP and have an 06 V2K.. it is a "Beast" I have not tested rode any thing else that has it,s power so far.

Try any 600cc sportbbike for lots of power. If you want to just scare yourself to death try a liter sportbike or Hayabusa.
