  • Hello from Idaho

Hi folks. Found this place from a reference in a Mean Streak forum so I made my way over.

I'm in Lewiston Idaho and have recently acquired a 2002 Vulcan Mean Streak. Hoping to get a few accessories on it and see some of this beautiful country around me on two wheels for a change.

Thanks for the Association (T-shirt's been ordered!) and if anyone's around this part of the Pacific Inland NW, give me a shout.

    Forrest

            Re: Hello from Idaho

Thanks for the welcome. The Rally would be great! Haven't even got any highway time on it yet. Tires make me nervous. Dunlop 220st's and the back has a serious flat spot in the middle and really bad feathering/cupping on the sides. Front "looks" good, but I get a buzzing feel through the bars, and even as hard of hearing as I am, seems like a buzzing noise too on any corners over 35mph.

Going to swap over to the Avon Storm II's within the next month then get some highway time on it.

Thanks guys. Wife and I (and a friend) went through the local STARS Motorcycle safety course this past weekend and are now on the hunt for the Wife's bike too. lol Can't convince her of a Vulcan (yet) but at least she wants to join me on two wheels again.
