  • Howdy from "Texoma"

In the last week, my wife (HeidiSnow) and I picked up a pair of Vulcan Classic LTs. A 2006 2000 for me and a 2007 900 for her.

I have been riding for 20+ years. This is her first bike. She's studying the literature and will be taking the MSF Beginners course in two weeks. It is an exciting time for us! Her swapping from pillion to rider is HUGE!

Anyway, howdy, all! We're looking forward to learning lots and getting to know you guys!

Howdy Texoma, Enjoy the new rides. I myself ride a 2010 900 Classic Lt, Two years old this month. Picked this one because the last one was back in 1986. Ready to move up to something bigger. Tell you wife to be aware of her surroundings while riding. Watch everyone and everything. Watch twelve seconds ahead of her while riding. Teach her the counter steering technique.
I belong to the Fort Worth Vulcan Riders Association,Chapter 1-25. We are sponsoring a Poker Run on June 23rd starting at Honda Kawasaki West in Ft. Worth on 820w. Visit our website,www.fwvra.com for details. Hope to see you there. Ride Safe.

We'll definitely look into it. At that point, she'll probably won't be comfortable enough to ride and be back in her "throne".
