  • Good Morning VRA

    Hello,
My name is Brian Chapman and I am one of the organizers of a couple of motorcycle events in my hometown of Cadillac, MI. There was a recent post on Facebook that the VRA National Rally will be held in Cadillac in 2013. I am interested to know if this is true and what the dates are if it is.

My wife works for the Cadillac Area VIsitors Bureau and we would love to work with this rally and insure there are no conflicts with events we are currently working on.

I look forward to your responses and we TRULY hope this great event is going to be held here.

      Re: Good Morning VRA

Brian, My name is Rob Lemire, and I am President of the River City chapter of the VRA. I am extremely proud to confirm that the national rally will be in Cadillac next year. Dates are July 9-11, but attendees will be filtering in starting on sunday and leaving friday morning.

Along with visitors from other states, we are expecting visitors from Canada, Mexico, and Sweden. The last rally was held in McGregor, Iowa, and we had over 100 attendees. We are not going to overtake the city or anything, but we will be leading organized rides everyday, sleeping in either a campground or a hotel, and shopping for trinkets. Having the support of the Visitors Bureau would mean alot to us, and we appreciate you joining our forum. If you need any more information, I will message you my phone number on facebook, feel free to call me anytime.

We had one, but due to some mishaps at this years rally, I am re-thinking. I will be up in Cadillac Sunday to check on a couple more places.

I have been in contact with Brian, and his wife Gabby. They have both been more than helpful in answering my questions and using their contacts in the area to assist me in the planning stages. We have already cooked up some surprises for those of you that attend. I have invited both of them as my guests to attend the rally, and view first hand what they helped put together.
