It's actually easy to find some good local or regional beer, just requires going to a few bars and trying what's on tap. I found Leinenkugals at the Vulcan rally in Boscobel, WI. You've just got to be open to new tastes. Besides, tasting beer is a great hobby.

There are a few of the AB beers that I'll drink, but Bud only if there's nothing else around.

I like a canadian beer called Labats Blue. Also there is a local brewery that makes a brand called Saranac. They have some good dark beers as well as a real good amber ale. http://www.saranac.com/section/core-beers I think Derry is familiar with Saranac.

Forget the yard sale and bring the other to the Rally. Talk about a fund raiser.

My dad and I tried that one night, this steak house boasted they had like 75 different kinds of beer. So we started at 'A'...

we'd each drink 1/2 glass then swap, think we made it to 'P' (pun intended)

Ahh Papa Bear, that takes me a long way back, to the early 1960s and my Navy daze. (Spelling intended)

Stopping at all the bars on the right side of the road from Pax Navel Station to Washington, DC made it a long trip.

Wish it were that easy, Don't get me wrong I WILL have a good time there, but I want it all plus there is training I need to keep my teachers license ... bureaucratic crap...

If you spend your money at Wal-Mart, the money will go to China or Sri Lanka.
If you spend it on gasoline, your money will go to the Arabs.
If you buy a computer, it will go to India, Taiwan or China.
If you buy fruit and vegetables, it will go to Mexico, Honduras and Chile.
If you buy an efficient car, it will go to Japan or Korea.
If you buy useless stuff, it will go to Taiwan.
If you pay your credit cards off, or buy stock, it will go to management bonuses and they will hide it offshore.

However, if you spend your money at yard sales, or go to a ball game, or spend it on prostitutes, American beer or tattoos….the money goes to US businesses....

Conclusion: To help the economy, we should all go to a ball game with a tattooed prostitute that we met at a yard sale and drink beer all day!

I read this and thought I would seriously give it a try but I couldn't talk my ex into going to a ball game.
