not much to add, I am a "browser", but curious. I used to know a guy in the Navy whose name was George Stout. This would have been on the USS Cacapon AO-52 and during the Vietnam years.

yah, I know a lot of people in the Vulcan Community on other forums. Mostly on VROC.ORG where I am #26 out of over 30,000 members, but that doesnt mean a lot in that the group has grown exponentially in a few short years. I joined in 1994. My current Vulcan is a 2003 Nomad, prior to that I owned a 1999 Classic, 1990 Vulcan 1500SE, 1964 Benelli, 1998 Virago.

Wow Jim. You're one of the original VROCers! Welcome to the forum.

We view ourselves as a subset of VROC (and many of us are members of VROC). VROC helps the Vulcan community talk online whereas we're more focused on helping folks meet personally and ride together.

Do you remember Odin? He was one of the early VROC members who started the VRA.

BTK forums.... but previously came across on a web search. A member here inquired about a Raleigh NC chapter. Hopefully it turns fruitful. Either way...howdy... am a VROC member also but rarely look at it due to lack of local info.... well last I looked.
