Looking to start a chapter in NW Indiana. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi John,

Looks like you are in between the Northern Indiana and Northern IL Chapters so I would have to run it past the Chapter Presidents for both of those chapters, but in the meantime if you have not, please visit this section of the website - How to Start a VRA Chapter | Vulcan Riders Association | Good Friends.. Good Rides.. Good Times..

If you have looked it over you know that it will take a minimum of 4 people however the spouse or significant other of a Vulcan rider counts so conceivably two couples each with a Vulcan could start a chapter. I will email you some additional information for you to take a look at, but truly the difficult part is finding those first few people interested in being part of a group, then the second is building some cohesion and friendship in the group. That may not sound overly complicated but just because they all have a Kawasaki Vulcan they will not all ride the same. Some will want to go fast, some not so much, and some will think a 300 mile ride to get lunch is no big deal while others may feel like 100 miles is a very long ride. That said it can be done so check out the section of the website I posted the link to if you have not, and then take a look at the attachment in the email I send to you and hit us up with questions. I will also reach out to the Chapter Presidents for Northern Indiana and Northern IL.

Seems to already be causing confusion and issues with the other Indiana group. Looking for riders rather than drama so I’m just going to drop the issue. Thanks for your comments.
