VRA Western Rally 2023
April 25 – 27, 2023

The 2023 VRA Western Rally is fast approaching! Good times will be had by all.

You’ll find key information about accomodations and registration below, and be sure to check out the Schedule of Events. (Planning is in progress and will be finalized after January 1.)

Registration

  • Register for the rally here.
    The price is per person and includes a T-Shirt. Select your desired T-Shirt size and style and order one registration for each person. Please indicate the name(s) for each registration so we know who’s coming, and indicate which activities you may be interested in so we can gauge interest.
  • Everyone needs to book their own accommodations. See below for booking information.
  • Rally rockers should be ordered directly from the VRA Store. If this is your first VRA rally, or if you don’t already have the main rocker patch, you’ll want to order it also here. Ordering deadline: TBD
  • Rally patches and T-shirts will be delivered to the rally and available for pick-up at checkin.

Accommodations

We’re hosting the rally in San Diego’s Mission Valley area at the Handlery Hotel.

  • The rally rate is $129.00 per night, plus parking ($10) and taxes for a total of $155.38 per night.
  • This rate is available for three nights before and after the rally
  • Reservation deadline: March 26, 2023

    • If applicable, feel free to check for an AAA or AARP rate!

Camping & RV

Camping options do not have a group rate and must be booked individually. A few nearby options are…

  • Campland by the Bay
    Daily rates start at $104 (water/electric) and $137 (full). Approximately 7 miles from the hotel.
  • Mission Bay RV Resort
    Daily rates from $80 to $170 depending on size and amenities. Approximately 6 miles from the hotel.
  • San Diego RV Resort
    Daily rates from around $80 to $120 depending on size and amenities. Approximately 14 miles from the hotel.

Motorcycle Rentals

If you’re not planning to ride to the rally, there are a few options for motorcycle rentals in the area.

Banquet

The no-host banquet dinner will be held on Wednesday at the Grand Ole BBQ 15505 Olde Hwy 80, El Cajon, CA 92021.  Good food at a great outdoor (and indoor) venue.
